KOK is operated by a Board of Directors, most of whom are elected by the First Lutheran Church congregation members. They serve 2-year terms. There is also one parent representative on the board nominated by the director and pastor and approved by the board. The pastor of First Lutheran also serves as a permanent member of the board.
